Battle of the Books

The La Paloma Blue Bonnets Club is open to 5th grade students and meets every Monday to Friday from 7:00-7:45am until the district competition held in February. During this time, students read and discuss a selection of four novels. The club offers a wonderful opportunity for students to engage with literature and develop a love for reading. At the district competition, students have the chance to showcase their knowledge and passion for the books they have read, as they compete against other schools in the district.
